Grover Beach traffic stop nets meth and hash

A Grover Beach traffic stop Wednesday morning resulted in the arrest of a driver for several drug offenses.
Around 11:10 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop of a a vehicle in the 1000 block of Highway 1 in Grover Beach. The officer identified the driver as Grover Beach resident Austin J. Ross, who had a suspended license.
The policeman then searched Ross’s vehicle and found hashish, as well as 83.8 grams of methamphetamine, which were packaged for sales. Other paraphernalia used to sell narcotics were also in the car.
Ross, 29, went to San Luis Obispo County Jail on charges of transportation of narcotics, possession of narcotics for sale, possession of hashish, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license.
