Men wounded in near simultaneous Santa Maria shootings

Two shootings occurred within minutes of each other early Sunday morning in Santa Maria. [KSBY]
Police officers responded to the first shooting in the 200 block of West Rocschelle Lane just after 1 a.m. They found that 18-year-old Jesus Marguez suffered a bullet wound to the chest.
Minutes later, a shooting occurred in the 500 block of North Oakley Avenue. A 21-year-old man, Jorge Andrae, suffered a gunshot wound to the leg.
Both victims received treatment and survived. Officers have not located any suspects, though, in either of the shootings.
The two shootings took place approximately 2.5 miles apart from each other.
