Woman falls from cliff at Pirate’s Cove

A woman was seriously injured when she fell 50 feet off a cliff at Pirate’s Cove on Saturday.
Shortly after 8 p.m., multiple witnesses said they saw the woman walk alone up to the edge of the cliff and then fall. It is not yet known if the fall was intentional or accidental.
Firefighters rescued the woman from a brushy area below the cliff’s edge. She was then transported to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.
Information about the victim, including her name, has not been released.
