CHP identifies man killed in Arroyo Grande crash
November 5, 2014
The California Highway Patrol identified the man killed early Tuesday morning in a crash in rural Arroyo Grande as Raymond Mendoza of Oceano.
Shortly before 4 a.m., the 21-year-old man was driving south on Los Berros Road when he crossed onto the oncoming traffic lane before crashing into a tree. Officers suspect speed and alcohol played a role in the accident.
In addition, Mendoza was not wearing a seatbelt.
