After 30 years in Prison, a man who killed a co-worked then cut his heart out and put it in his pocket has been paroled to San Luis Obispo. [Fresno Bee]

In 1984 Theodore LeLeaux Jr. was sentenced to 16 years to life for killing 25-year-old Kenneth Carlock. In August, Gov. Jerry Brown rejected it a state parole boards release of LeLeaux.

Even so, on Sept. 10 a Fresno County judge determined the 53-year-old inmate no longer posed a threat to society and ordered his release. LeLeaux was released on Nov. 13 to reside in san Luis Obispo with his wife.

On June 5, 1984, LeLeaux stabbed Carlock 77 times and cut his heart out. The next day police arresting LeLeaux discovered the victim’s heart in his pocket.

LeLeaux pled guilty while claiming he was under the influence of methamphetamines and did not remember the attack.
Carlock’s sister, Gayle McCracken, told the Fresno Bee Wednesday that the judge’s ruling was “like being sucker punched.”

“He’s a monster,” McCraken told the Bee. “He should never get out.”

This is Jerry Brown sending a message to D4 voters who just dumped his appointee.

I’m sure his wife made the right decision and she sleeps soundly at night…

Sounds like a perfect candidate to be the next Director of Community Development at SLOTown. He would certainly fit in with the caliber at top level.

@ Ted Slanders [The word of God]…. Your’re wrong.

We are under the New Testament now. The new covenant. Not the Mosaic law. Jesus, being obedient to His Father, gave His life for all of our sins. Thus, removing the Mosaic law. Jesus was and is the propitiation “The innocent lamb” for the sins of man after the fall in the Garden of Eden.

We are no longer under the “Law”. We are now under “Grace”.

Thank you Jesus!

I will judge you in righteousness. If you are teaching this heretical doctrine, please stop. You are leading many astray.

Please don’t spew your nonsense here.

The New Covenant in Jesus Christ does not equate to the “New Testament.” The Christian Bible contains BOTH the New Testament and the Old Testament writing. While Christians need not follow the Mosaic Law (e.g. they need not eat kosher) simply because it’s Mosiac Law, some elements of the Mosiac Law (e.g. though shall not kill) are most certainly required of all Christians.

Sam,

I stand by my statement to Ted.

Concerning the first 13 words in your comment, Jesus does in whole equate to the “New Testament”. The Old Testament is God’s dealings with His chosen people. A history. Also, the Old Testament is the forebearer of our Lord and Savior to come.

Yes, we need as human beings created in the image of our God, be mindful of the 10 Commandments. You recite Exodus 20:13, “Thou shalt not kill”. In the original text it is “Thou shalt not murder” There is a difference between killing and murder.

I can as a hunter go out and “kill” my prey. A Deer for example. I cannot go out and “kill” another human being [unless justified]. That would be in context a “murder”. I am not to “murder” one who has been created in the image of God for no reason.

Jesus Fulfills the Law: Matthew 5: 17-20

17: Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18: For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19: Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

20: For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

So yes, Jesus does fill all of the requirements.

John 3:16: “For God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son, that whomsover would believeth upon Him, should not perish, but have eternal life.

It’s that simple.

See “Love Behind Bars” http://www.scribd.com/doc/31898559/Story-Prison for more about Mr. and Mrs. LeLeaux.

*uck a duck! Are you kidding me?

Someone commits such a heinous murder and they actually parole him?

Texas would have a different take on this matter.

I am sure that I am speaking for my fellow true Christians in the fact that Theodore LeLeaux Jr. should have been put to death immediately after his conviction for killing Mr. Carlock back in 1984. In this manner, we wouldn’t have had to deal with this ungodly person at this time. We’re reminded that this is a Christian Nation, so it’s about time we start acting like one where the judges of our courts start following the biblical doctrine stated herein.

“Whoever takes a human life shall surely be put to death.” (Leviticus 24:17)

“Whoever strikes a man so that he dies shall be put to death.” (Exodus 21:12)

“Moreover, you shall accept no ransom for the life of a murderer, who is guilty of death, but he shall be put to death.” (Numbers 35:31)

But Peter and the apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than men.” (Acts 5:29)

As all true Christians realize, Jesus says to follow ALL of the Mosaic and God’s laws, all 613 of them, within the Old Testament, and who are we to state otherwise? Jesus stated, to wit: “Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 5:19).

Ted, are you sure there isn’t something in the Bible about “taking a life, cutting a man’s heart out and putting it in a back pocket”?

Usually I am not one to question your interpretation of the Bible, but I think there should be an extra bonus penalty for cutting a man’s heart out and putting it in a back pocket.

Just sayin…

It’s called…An Eye for an Eye.

.

My dear Sister of Eve, Mary,

You are obviously not a true Christian woman, otherwise, you would have been silent to any godly enlightenment that I bring forth regarding the Hebrew God’s word!

“But I suffer not a woman to teach, NOR TO USURP THE AUTHORITY OVER THE MAN, but to be in silence.” (Timothy 2:12)

Furthermore, I take offense in you proffering that I am “interpreting” the bible in any way from it’s direct literal word. Only pseudo-christians that are embarrassed about the literal word of God conveniently “interpret” His word away from it’s true disturbing meaning.

“For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.” (2 Timothy 4:3)

Now, what was the question? Oh yeah, no Mary, there is no added penalty for cutting ones’ heart out of them in the act of murder. Jesus is quite happy, being ever loving and forgiving, in that Theodore LeLeaux Jr. upon his demise, will spend eternity in the sulfur lakes of Hell screaming and gashing his teeth!

“The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all law-breakers, and throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” (Matthew 41-42)

Sister of Eve Mary,

^ Satan tried to enter my being by me not giving you the full biblical verse, the ghashing of teeth and screaming passage is Matthew 13: 41-42. Be gone Satan!

Seems to me, the sons of man decided somewhere along the way NOT to throw this SOB into a fiery furnace when they had a chance, and now he’s back on the streets.

(Pelican 20:14)

Hey Ted, why do so many of these whack jobs find God in prison? He hasn’t moved, has he?

Pelican1,

I can tell from the tone of your voice, that you are suspect of the Hebrew God of the bible not staying in one place. Let us not worry because He is omnipresent!

“The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good.” (Proverbs 15:3)

In prayer with Jesus on your question, He told me that the work of redemption brings back man to the obedience he owes to God as his Maker. Jesus is the light of the world, and by his grace he opens the understandings Satan has blinded, and sets at liberty from the bondage of sin, especially while one is in prison.

The short synopsis is, the majority of prisoners in the USA are Christians, and if you don’t want your ass kicked into the next zip code, you become a part of the fold and accept Jesus as your Savior real quick!

I think the prophet Isaiah said it best in this respect subsequent to the prisoners getting right with their peers, to wit: “To open the eyes that are blind, to bring out the prisoners from the dungeon, from the prison those who sit in darkness.” (Isaiah 42:7)

“The short synopsis is, the majority of prisoners in the USA are Christians, and if you don’t want your ass kicked into the next zip code, you become a part of the fold and accept Jesus as your Savior real quick!”

Seriously?????

What part of Christianity are these mother rapers, father rapers, daughter rapers, murderers, child abusers, etc.?

Pelican1

What part of Christianity are these murderers you ask? There is no part of Christianity other than to be TRUE Christians that follow ALL of the inspired word of the Hebrew God! The irony of which, if one kills, they have it straight from scripture that they are not to be held accountable for these actions, praise!

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)

Therefore, the Christians that are prisoners, and others as well, really don’t have any incentive not to kill as shown in the passage above. This is one of many caveats of our faith that draw so many prisoner converts to a proposed heaven in their afterlife. We’ll get to meet all killers in heaven someday, as the Satanic Scientists, Climate Change Scientists, EVILutionists, and other non-believers that are scientists are burning in Hell!

How is that any different than believing that if you cut off the head of a on-believer of Islam you will be rewarded with 72 virgins in the afterlife?

oops….non

Pelican1,

The Qur’an never states this 72 virgin thingy, but they do have some great rewards for those Muslim men that kill in the name of Allah all nonbelievers!

In the Muslim heaven, which is obviously a SEPARATE heaven altogether from the Christian heaven, Allah supplies women in a different way as described below.

“Serving [the believers] will be immortal youths with jeweled and crystal cups filled with the purest wine which will neither give them headache nor hangover, with fruits and meats of their desire. They will be fair ones with lovely intense eyes like guarded pearls; A reward for the good deeds of their past life.” (Qur’an 56:17-24)

I don’t like to post Islam facts like shown above because I am afraid that many Christians will convert to Islam after reading what awaits in the Muslim heaven. Keep this on the “down-low” if you will.

Thanks.

We call ourselves a ‘civilized society’ and scold other nations on human rights yet we release such individuals back into our own communities. How is this being civilized?

My sympathy for Gayle McCracken who will suffer every day the rest of her life. The innocent suffer while Theo does not. We are hypocrites.

Utah has been tossing around the idea of bringing back firing squads for people like this guy. Can you imagine if California used our death penalty?

All hell would brake out in this state.
