Paso Robles cafe robbed at gunpoint

May 27, 2015

PASO ROBLES BRICK SIGNA man dressed in blue robbed a Paso Robles cafe at gunpoint Tuesday morning and successfully fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to the city’s police department.

At about 10:30 a.m., the suspect entered Chico’s Cafe at 834 11th Street. The suspect displayed a handgun, ordered the cafe clerk to take him to the back office and stole money from the cash register, a police news release states.

The robber then fled out the back door while the clerk remained in the office. The clerk waited about five minutes before calling the police.

When officers arrived at the scene, the suspect had already fled the area.

The clerk described the suspect as a white male in his mid-30s with a thin build. The robber was reportedly wearing a blue beanie style cap, a blue shirt, blue jeans and a bandana over his face.

Police are asking anyone with information about the robbery to call the Paso Robles police department at (805) 237-6464 or Crime Stoppers at (805) 549-STOP.

I agree. Waiting or delaying calling the cops after an armed robbery is a little suspicious. Love the Bible quotes and how they fit like a key. You are well read.

If you had been around this site for long enough, you would know enough to not encourage Ted and his scriptural interpretations. They are occasionally clever and pointed but not always and they get very wearisome after a while.

OnTheOtherHand,

God and I take exception you your ungodly comments! Firstly, there is absolutely no need for “interpretation” to “literal” passages as some pseudo-christians like to hide behind because of what the verses actually said in the Bronze Age in which they were written. Secondly, my godly posts relative to the story at hand wouldn’t become wearisome to you if you didn’t need to acknowledge and read them in the first place.

I could subjectively say with logic and reason that your comments severely go wanting on particular topics here on Cal Coast News, but I won’t.

Praise be Brother Ted to help us worship in the light of truth!

Dear Mr. Slanders,

I find it interesting and sad that you seem to spend so much time and effort in twisting the words of the Bible to promote your own agenda. (An agenda that is not clear to me.) Somewhere along the journey of your life you must have been terribly hurt by someone who used the Bible in their own twisted way to hurt you. I am so sorry for the wrongs that may have been done to you in the name of Christianity and the Bible. I hope that someday you will have peace in your heart and healing from your hurt.

So, wait, both Chico’s Restaurant AND the CITY of Chico are involved with those who fleece others? Poetic happenstance.

The clerk waited for five minutes before calling the police, huh? He either was changing his underwear, or it sounds like an inside job!

Again, this godly verse could cover this situation as well; “People do not despise a thief if he steals to satisfy his appetite when he is hungry, but if he is caught, he will pay sevenfold; he will give all the goods of his house.” (Proverbs 6:30-31) Because of the scenario, the robber obvioulsy couldn’t eat at Chicos because he had to be on the lam post haste.

Evidently, one of the Blue Meanies.
