Pedestrian killed in Los Osos

A 24-year-old Los Osos man died Tuesday night after being struck by a car on Los Osos Valley Road in front of the Trinity United Methodist Church. [KSBY]
At about 8:30 p.m., the victim, who lives near the site of the accident, was struck by a 2010 silver Prius headed westbound at approximately 45 miles per hour. The victim was attempting to cross the road when the Prius struck and killed him.
According to the CHP, the driver was not at fault for the accident.
