San Luis Obispo police arrested a 27-year-old man for allegedly stabbing a man Saturday morning with a razor on Broad Street near Mission Plaza.

At about 1:20 a.m., Shiloh Augustinec Ferreira allegedly began an argument with another male. Five friends of the victim attempted to break up the fight, according to a press release.

Ferreira then stabbed the victim in the shoulder before fleeing southbound on Broad Street, police said.

Officers booked Ferreira into the San Luis Obispo County Jail on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon. His bail is set at $25,000.

How sad. We live in this beautiful area, but so do those who much muck it up!!

SLO is not a safe place. It has more violent crime per capita than 90% of American cities. Of course, the city hall-chamber crowd don’t want you to know that, so they cook the stats their own way. Anyway, the truth comes out thanks to CCN with report after report like this one.

Why would just make something like that up, or take such a fact given to you at face value without ever researching it. That is absolute and total nonsense. If you take ALL cities just in California, San Luis Obispo has a higher crime rate than 44% of them. And that can be analyzed in a bunch of other ways but for right now I’m just focusing on the fact that you and so many other seem to live in imaginary worlds and have zero regard for factual reality.

hijinks says: “SLO is not a safe place. It has more violent crime per capita than 90% of American cities. ”

No, please stop making up fake facts. You are entitled to your own opinion, not your own facts.

Is Shiloh by any chance one of our “poor”, “unfortunate”, “homeless” bums roaming the streets of San Luis Obispo?

Well that or one of the local meth heads.

Or both.

When is that 250 room hotel going to open on Prado road so even more homeless can stay in our area? When it does, it’s going to cost the city a lot to place more benches around town for them to sit upon and panhandle all day.

Bring back the Civilian Conservation Corp!

“F” the homeless. there is a $ hundreds of millions/yr “non-profit” industry completely funded with tax money but immune to any form of scrutiny that provides lots of six figure jobs to the right people. One of whom is now looking to pad his compensation with the pay and benefits of a county supervisor.
