San Luis Obispo County Supervisor Adam Hill believes blame for the San Bernardino massacre can be laid at the feet of “hate media.”

Writing on his Facebook page, “Team Adam Hill,” the District 3 supervisor even named four local media outlets as examples of his theory.

Hill’s Facebook post:

“Regarding the latest tragic shooting, I think we make a mistake by focusing only on guns instead of looking at the derangement of our culture. Every day poison is spread through public discourse by on-line blogs, AM radio, and certain cable news programs.

“These outlets take advantage of the community by lying to them, vilifying people, and encouraging sadistic, paranoid, and violent thinking. This is not being properly addressed.

“And it needs to be. Because this occurs locally too and our indifference is part of the problem.

“It’s understandable that people are afraid to challenge the purveyors of local hate, but do we have to wait until we experience something terrible before we do?”

In response to a reader’s comment, Hill added, “Here, we can refuse to allow ourselves to be manipulated by local hate media like KVEC, KPRL, KKJL, and CCN.”

Sean Hannity ginned up this topic to the extreme over any other news network person for possible ratings? Are the numbers of mentioning “baby parts” by Faux News simple math, or coincidence?

If Adam were serious he’d be writing in CCN to help shift the focus from the “hate,” as he calls it, of shedding light on his own misdeeds. Maybe he’d convince us we don’t really know him. :-(

If you are so against hate, Adam, why won’t you address the public regarding your illegal partnership with this man that violently beats every woman that he comes in contact with? If Dee said the wrong thing to Ryan and got her head smashed into a tile floor, would you just take another pay check and look the other way? The public needs you to come clean. This is additional proof of how stupid Adam Hill really is. He is incapable of seeing the inadequacies of his thought process. His belief that right wing speech is hateful and causes criminal acts is beyond idiotic. If he wants to have a conversation that all speech causes people to act, fine that is a valid subject worthy of conversation. But to only condemn speech that he disagrees with is downright stupid! And to think that this idiot was once paid to educate the youth go SLO. His smug arrogance when spewing his own warped hate speech is disgusting. It is embarrassing to have him represent the citizens of SLO, but it does tell us something about our neighbors who reelected him.
