Petetit plead guilty to assault with great bodily injury, false imprisonment with force, dissuading a witness and two charges of inflicting corporal injury on a cohabitant. Because this is his first conviction, Petetit is likely to spend less than a year in jail, according to a witness in the case.

Petetit is a principal in PB Companies, a real estate investment and development firm currently embroiled in multiple legal actions. In the past seven years, since Petetit co-founded PB Companies with John Belsher, Petetit has been charged with nine felonies and six misdemeanors including multiple charges related to domestic violence, several for writing bad checks and one for drunk in public.

On the evening of Nov. 22, 2015, a verbal argument ensued between Petetit and his girlfriend at a home they shared in Arroyo Grande.

The argument turned physical with Petetit allegedly pushing the victim and yelling, she said. Petetit grabbed the victim by the throat and began choking her. He then dragged her to her feet and shoved her head through a bathroom window, shattering the glass.

The victim attempted to escape, but Petetit took her phone and pushed her into a closet, refusing to release her, she said. While the victim fought to free herself, Petetit slammed her head into the tile floor, knocking her unconscious, she said.

When she awoke, the victim fled to a family member’s home, who took her to a hospital.

Arroyo Grande police officers arrested Petetit a few days later.

Following the assault, the victim warned a CalCoastNews reporter that Petetit had talked of hiring a hit man to curtail reporting on his and Belsher’s relationship with San Luis Obispo County Supervisor Adam Hill.

In 2012, Belsher and Petetit created multiple development companies. By 2015, their development portfolio included more than a dozen projects.

Multiple affiliates of Belsher and Petetit claim Hill worked as a paid consultant for the developers working to promote their projects. Even though Hill identifies himself on documents filed with the state as the “managing member” of a limited liability corporation tied to Belsher and Petetit, Hill has repeatedly denied that he works with the developers.

Petetit is scheduled for sentencing on Jan. 17.

Shame on the whacky SLO County Progressives for remaining silent while one of their own pleads guilty to abusing women, and Heidi Harmon and Caren Ray should especially be ashamed of their decided silence in the #MeToo era. How ‘progressive’ is it to remain silent while their friend and supporter pleads guilty, and has an apparent lifetime of domestic abuse?

This is why so many people assign no credibility to the progressive platform, and, on the national level, Hillary Clinton shamefully protected her rapist husband Bill Clinton when he was confronted by his rape victims. Hillary modeled the very behavior that we now see Heidi Harmon and Caren Ray emulating, and Harmon and Ray ought to be ashamed of there silence in the face of the Petetit guilty plea.

Also, shame on the SLO TT and the SLO New Times for their concerted silence on the Ryan Petetit domestic violence guilty plea, and their selective coverage is one of the reasons they are not credible news sources in SLO County.

DA Dan Dow needs to seek a long prison sentence for Ryan Petetit, and, if the SLO Progressives remain silent, they are guilty of aiding and abetting his crimes.

Just saying.

Dan Dow, if you give Ryan Petetit a boys will be boys sentencing (probation for example) this will be a huge election issue for you. Think of the victims Dan.

dandowrepublicansoftoncrime.com is available for $11 a year, or Dan I don’t care about perjury Dow .com

I wonder why the SLO Tribune is no longer covering this story. Looking back through the archives, it looks like they did several articles on this sleazeball in the past. Adam Hill is doing his best to ignore this and is making sure the Trib and New Times does as well. Hate to break it to you Adam, but ignoring this won’t make the problem go away.

I have a few extra pitchforks but I could use a torch.

Less than a year in jail for choking and smashing a woman’s head through a window along with multiple other felonies?  He’ll file bankruptcy and she won’t get a penny for her civil suit either.  He’ll be back at the world series next year.  Unbelievable.

See it does help to buy friends in high places, such as Adam Hill, Hedi Harmon, Dan Dow and others, even better when you use other people’s money.

Incarcerate the Adam Hill Cartel.

With all of the alleged mayhem going on and nobody is in jail, we have to figure that the Russians are helping? Why heck they elected our president, right? I have been following these stories for years and with the exception of Kelly Gearhart, who double booked loans on the same property and ripped off millions of dollars with fake paper, and is already out walking free, most everyone else just get their hands slapped. The overall tenants of adverse possession seems to be the foundation of doing business in this county, if you can get away with it long enough, you have established a right to be a thief. This is forged with governmental participation in the same mix as they use the public process as a work around by using the ignorance of the public. And so it goes when they get caught, it was the State, the Feds and maybe now the Russians who made them do it?
