Immigration enforcement agents arrested more than a dozen people in the Santa Maria area during the past four days, which includes an arrest outside a Goodwill store and a raid at a farm.

On Sunday morning, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents were attempting to arrest a suspect when the undocumented immigrant’s vehicle collided with a vehicle driven by ICE agents in the Goodwill parking lot at 1505 South Broadway. Multiple protestors then arrived at the parking lot.

Many of the protestors learned of the enforcement action through 805 Immigrant and 805 UndocuFund.

“Our 805 Immigrant Rapid Response Network is already in contact with the impacted family and we will be supporting them with legal resources, accompaniment, and financial assistance through 805UndocuFund,” according to a post on Facebook. “We keep our community safe together.”

Shortly after 11 a.m., Santa Maria police officers responded to a report of a disturbance. Officers arrived to find ICE agents had arrested the suspect.

On Thursday morning, more than a dozen ICE agents conducted a raid at East Valley Farms in rural Santa Maria. Shortly after the raid began, approximately 50 protesters arrived and confronted Homeland Security officers and ICE agents, which led to flash bang deployment.

In the end, immigration enforcement agents arrested 15 to 20 people. CalCoastNews will provide additional information after it is available.

Absolutely making my day better every time I hear about ICE enforcing immigration law here on the central coast!!!

Good job to all involved.

#45-47 WINNING!!!!!!

I’m sending Madam Trask and Flopside a box of tissues so they can wipe their tears and blow their nose as they continue to read of the ICE sweeps here on the central coast.

Tag’m, Bag’m and Drag’m out of the USA.

Karen? You inadvertently misspelled “805 Dangerous Criminal Fanboi Network”.

F’ing Hilarious. Spot on ARMY!!!!!

What a Trump s**t show. You could have thrown out the illegal farm workers 50 years ago. Gang members are not found in the fields. Ask the Republican farmers what they think of Trump.

So magas fever dream is to deport 13 million illegals. The president with the most deportations was Obama so of course Trump will try to best him. The estimated cost over 10 years is supposedly nearly a trillion dollars to try and accomplish this. immigrants add 80+ billion dollars a year to our economy.

Immigrants as a whole have proven to be a net gain to our country. Paying billions in taxes that support American and get little in return. They work in industries that America needs and that we seem not to do ourselves. They have been proven to do less crime than our own citizens.

They make up only 4 percent of our overall population. The maga cult has been fed a line of maga lies to make sure they have somebody to fear. You know who fear more? Rich pedophiles being protected by the President who claims not to know anything about Epstein

Articulate a reason why we should not be able to include the hard working families in this country? We have allowed this in the past and should continue in the future.

“They are eating our dogs and cats”

Donald j Trump

You are running a very common rhetorical trick here. You collapse all immigration into one category, then accuse anyone who wants a functioning border of being part of a “cult.”

Most people are not against immigrants. They are against illegal immigration, which is a very different question. If the law is optional, the border is optional. At that point a country is not really a country, it is just a piece of land people drift across.

So let me ask you what you avoided asking yourself. How many people are allowed to ignore immigration law before you think it is a problem. If 13 million is acceptable, is 30 million acceptable. If not, why not. At what point does the principle “laws should be enforced” suddenly become a “maga fever dream.”

You throw out economic slogans about “net gain” and “80 billion a year” as if that settles anything. A rising GDP number does not mean the actual citizens at the bottom are better off. Cheap labor is great for people who hire it. It is not so great for the American or legal immigrant construction worker or farm worker whose wages are held down while schools, hospitals, and housing costs are pushed up.

And the crime argument is a dodge. Even if the rate were lower, the basic reality is simple. If someone is only in the country because the state chose not to enforce its own border, then every serious crime committed by that person was preventable. For the victim and their family, the “statistics” are irrelevant.

You also try to rescue your position by pathologizing everyone who disagrees with you. “Maga cult,” “fed lies,” “need someone to fear.” That is not an argument. That is a way of declaring that you are morally superior so you no longer have to answer any hard questions, such as whether citizens have the right to decide who joins their political community. If they do, how is that right exercised without meaningful enforcement and real consequences for illegal entry. If they do not, then why have a border at all.

You say we should “include hard working families” as if that is the whole story. Here is a different framing. A serious, adult policy would welcome legal immigrants in numbers the system can actually absorb, prioritize those who follow the rules and bring skills the country genuinely needs, and enforce the law consistently so that patience and obedience are rewarded, not punished.

That position is not xenophobic. It is exactly what every stable society throughout history has tried to do. You do not get to redefine basic sovereignty as bigotry just because it gives you a temporary feeling of moral superiority.

Hammer dropped

BOOM!

How much better Mexico would be if the same energy we see applied to these immigration raids were applied to fight corruption in Mexico.

GOP. Gaurdians Of Pedophiles.

Come on bubbas dont hate.

For all you red hats, your $2,000 check is in the mail, just incase your doge money ranout.

Nope. I have plenty of DOGE money to live out the rest of my life on.

I’m going to donate my $2,000.00 check to the “805 Dangerous Criminal Fanboi Network” so they can by more cameras to get more photos of ICE doing an EXCELLENT JOB here locally.
