PG&E weatherman John Lindsey says the rain storm originally expected to come our way on Thursday and Friday will now largely bypass the Central Coast, except for a few scattered showers Friday evening. Expect mostly clear, dry, days until the middle of next week, when moderate, perhaps heavy, rain will return on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, a chunk of the bluffs at Dinosaur Caves Park in Shell Beach reportedly dropped to the ocean Tuesday night. Eyewitnesses say that a portion of the bluffs, heavily saturated by rain water, broke away and fell into the ocean around 5:30 p.m.
