A Morro Bay man already being held for burglarizing a home was charged Sunday with sexual assault of a minor.

On Sunday, police arrested Adam Bearden, 28, and charged him with 16 felony counts in the molestation of a young girl including having sex with a child, forcing a child to perform oral copulation, penetration with a foreign object of a person under 14 and sexual battery, according to the sheriff’s department.

Police arrested Bearden on Jan. 14 and booked him into San Luis Obispo County Jail under suspicion of burglary. The investigation began after a victim reported having $3,000 stolen from a safe within their home.

Four days later, police began investigating charges that Bearden molested the child who at times was in his care. During the investigation, police said they discovered Bearden had been sexually assaulting the girl for about three years.

Some people are too far gone to help. This guy needs a permanent vacation from life itself.

Damn. Let’s not discuss cutting funding for the groups and agencies that serve youngsters that have been abused by the likes of this apparent pervert; the young girl in this instance deserves all the help she can get. As for this guy, if he is proven to have done all he is charged with, throw away the key.

Call a welder, have him weld the cell shut for ever.

Nooo. How are the other prisoners going to get in to carry out punishment?
