Arroyo Grande car crash sends woman to hospital

A car crash Thursday afternoon in Arroyo Grande hospitalized a woman driving a Volkswagen Beetle. [KEYT]
The Beetle collided with another vehicle around 1:30 p.m. Thursday on Grand Avenue just east of Brisco Road. Five Cities firefighters and paramedics responded and reeled the woman out of the car and onto a stretcher.
Responders treated her on scene before transporting her to Arroyo Grande Community Hospital. The woman’s current condition is not known.
Arroyo Grande Police are still investigating the crash.
