Two men killed in Paso Robles plane crash

A single engine plane crashed Saturday morning near Vineyard and Fair Hills roads in the Paso Robles area killing two men, according to Cal Fire.
Shortly after 10 a.m., the plane took off from a private air strip at a ranch on Vineyard Drive. Witnesses told investigators the plane banked to the left and then spiraled to the ground.
A fire did not occur as a result of the crash.
San Luis Obispo County Sheriff investigators are at the scene and have informed the National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration of the crash.
