Intoxicated mother crashes while driving children

DUISan Luis Obispo police officers arrested a woman for driving under the influence Sunday evening after she crashed a pickup truck into two parked cars. Two children were inside the truck when the woman lost control of the vehicle.

Around 6:30 p.m., the woman crashed a four-door silver Nissan Frontier into several parked cars in the 1300 block of Oceanaire Drive. One of the collisions knocked the front bumper off of a parked car. A telephone pole may also have been struck in the crash.

The boys did not suffer serious injuries in the accidents. San Luis Obispo County Child Welfare Services is investigating the case.

Officers booked the woman in to the San Luis Obispo County Jail.

By the way CCN, kudos for getting the “red circle with slash” correct. Nobody does it right these days….they have the item or person being “slashed” OVER the red slash.

How sad is this! It is how ever, an example of the canary in the coal mine….we have a serious problem with the lack of proper parenting, self indulgence, impaired driving, child abuse, child neglect, and stupidity.

Too bad for her she isn’t the medical examiner for the county. She is screwed for sure now.
