December 5, 2024

By KAREN VELIE

Former San Luis Obispo Mayor Heidi Harmon is renting out her fully furnished and decorated home which includes some of her iconic outfits hanging on walls.

Offered as a month to month lease, the home is located in the downtown area. The home “features a one-bedroom, one-bath unit, and a charming glamping tent in the backyard.”

First elected to office in 2016, amid allegations she took gifts from a marijuana businessman, Harmon announced she was stepping down to battle climate change in Aug. 2021.

The former mayor’s attachment to red roses and eclectic style is on display throughout the house.

Wait…I thought she ran away from sworn duties as mayor, to make the big money with 3C’s? Now she has to rent her room? Do flowers come extra?

The glamping tent is illegal under city codes, period. The next inquiry needs to be the TOT records for both the legal and illegal units.

She renting it out for 30 days at a time. No TOT.

How much will Heidi pay someone to live there?

Heidi’s bedroom. Ah, the room where it happened.

Or did she have to drive all the way out to Los Osos?

weird

The hubris is off the charts.

Where’s the Bong?

This has been for rent now for a while, since October, if I’m not mistaken. I first heard about it mentioned on local radio that month. Great location, however I would think that the interior “furnishings” would severely limit the prospective tenant pool.

Who cares?

Yes, who?
