Man murdered in Guadalupe shot multiple times

A 37-year-old Santa Maria man who was found dead in Guadalupe on Aug. 19 died from multiple gunshot wounds, according to the Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Office.
A farm worker found Javier Alcantar Limon near West Main Street. His body was lying between the road and a farm field near the entrance to Guadalupe Beach.
Deputies are not saying if Limon was murdered at the Guadalupe location or if his body had been moved. In addition, the sheriff’s department is not disclosing any motives for the slaying.
